The heating system felt overly warm and couldn't be adjusted!!! Tired furnishings in the room could use an update, including a better shower performance with descaling!!! More soundproofing against air traffic noise would also help!!!

the dukes head inn has a great location, just 10 mins from the train station and town center. breakfast was amazin, with a full english and good coffee. room no. 26 was comfy and clean with everything u need for a nice stay. loved the outdoor seating area, perfect for chillin.

the only thing is there are a few flights of stairs and no lift. The bathroom was a bit small.

The garden area was perfect for relaxing with a book, and the pub downstairs had great beers to unwind after a day out. The mattress could have been better, but that’s just me being picky—definitely a place I’d recommend to friends! 😊
